Tips to save on airport rides
Published on 2025-01-15
Plan buffer time, share your flight, and pick the right cab class to avoid last-minute surge. Keep these airport-ready habits to protect both your schedule and your wallet.

Start with timing: book a pickup that adds at least 20–30 minutes of buffer for security, baggage belts, and gate changes. Early morning and late-night flights can swing quickly—buffers give you breathing space without paying for last-minute changes.
Share your flight number in advance. When we track your flight, we can auto-adjust for delays or early landings, notify the driver, and reduce wait-time fees. If your airline app updates, forward the notification to your driver for real-time alignment.
Pick the right cab class from the start. If you have large luggage or multiple check-in bags, choose a sedan/SUV upfront so you don’t pay on-the-spot for an upgrade or risk a no-show because of space issues. For solo travelers with a cabin bag, stick to compact to save more.
Avoid surge by steering clear of peak pickup times when possible, and finalize your pickup point (terminal pillar, gate number, rideshare lane) before you land. Clear location notes prevent repeated loops around the terminal and extra wait charges.
Keep payment simple: save your preferred card, enable UPI, and carry a backup. Fast payments reduce dwell time at the curb, and a smooth handoff helps both you and the next passenger in line.
